Gemini Dual Core Phase Shifter

Gemini is complete! Wow! I conceptualised this baby a couple of months ago, and had an idea of how it would sound, but having just finished the prototype build and played with it for a couple of hours I’m totally blown away!

OK, frist off, this is not a Mutron Bi-Phase clone. The concept is a Bi-Phase work-a-like with some serious extra features. It’s based on the Causality 6 ( 2 more stages than a C4), and has two phase cores that can either be configured in series or parallel, a total of 12 stages as there are two Causalities inside. Two LFOs, but with the option to sync both phase cores to LFO 1.  And the ability to inverse sweep Phase Core #1 with respect to Phase Core #2. No other phaser ever made has these unique features and such a unique palette of sounds.

Soundclips! My tame shred-slave is outta town right now, so here’s below-average-me playing instead:

Gemini Montage

Signal path: Tele Custom (HB) >>> (Big Muff for the driven parts) >>> Gemini >>> Valve Junior >>> Shure SM58 >>> Wavelab

Starts off with just a single phase core, then gets more complex with dual cores, inverse sweeps, combined fast/slow, series and parallel settings. I was gonna list whats happening in each part, but……..

Gemini costs £350 GBP plus shipping. Please contact me by email at the following address if you would like to reserve one for yourself:
